Well I doubt it's gonna be as big as we might need for douchebag companies like EA and Activision to radically change course. I'm not even sure that can ever happen at this point. I personally think the companies are to big and that's the reason why they are not making enough money along with mis mangement.

The problem is that the big companies and the investors, which (is worth saying once more) are their real customers, are not just happy with making tons of money, they also expect to always make more money every year. So they can never be satisfied, and need to come up with more b.s. ways to milk the gamers of every penny they have. Which of course is not sustainable in the long run, even if they manage to keep government regulations away from their business.

Nice. If Spawn is indeed a guest character then I hope they have Keith David voice him again. His voice acting is always music to the ears and he did a great job in that HBO animated Spawn series.

If they add spawn, they are already doing a better job with guest characters in this games than MK10.

I really didn't like the guest characters for MK10. Not only that but it was annoying that they added so many when there were many old MK fan favorites missing. Hopefully, that won't be the case this time around.

Yeah I'm right behind you on that. Going to do the new story content, just in case there's an actual consequence of helping/not helping Saurfang, then I'm canceling until 8.2 or later. Mythic+ is not fun, I don't raid anymore, and I don't like the PVP system, and grinding old content/reps isn't fun with my classes being so gimped. Gonna wait on lore/major updates.

Ugh, yeah. I hate how they gimped many of the classes with the removal of legendaries and the artifact. The azerite pendant is no replacement for sure. I don't like the mythic+ elitism (where people immediately look up if you got a rating on some third-party website when you want to do a higher key), I don't particularly like the new dungeons to run mythic+ either, the new raid was a total dud (I hate troll raids), not interested in hitting Jaina in the face at all (which you are forced to do in the new raid) and Sylvanas and Nathanos Blightcaller have plot armor so thick that it makes me want to vomit. I can wait with that decision for when the expansion ends, since my one level 120 Horde character is only a tertiary interest to me. I'll come back if we can rip Sylvanas skull off and shit down her neckhole, but otherwise I'll wait to see what next expansion brings.

I last played TOR right after the first Eternal Throne thing dropped, I really should pop in and see all the new shit...

Yeah, same here. But for the time, it's playing World of Tanks during the christmas/new year event and then a bit of Stellaris. After that, maybe TOR for a week or so. Then we'll see.

Yep, first found them...right before I started college, I believe. Their earliest content, right after Kirby Dreamland. Stopped watching them in the last 2 years, other than the odd video here and there, but I could tell this was a long time coming. It's sad tho, they were "the" LP guys for a long stretch.

I've been in the mood for some sci-fi game for a while now, but honestly can't think of anything. Anybody have any suggestions? I'm looking for something that *isn't* post-apocalyptic or set in a universe that mostly consists of piles of rubble at least. And I want something with good characters/story. It doesn't necessarily have to be an RPG but plus for that. But I definitely want something that feels like sci-fi so aliens or robots or complicated ships or whatever. I don't mind old but I'd really prefer like PS3 or later era game.

Before anybody suggests it, I've played Shadowrun and sequels already.

Hmmm... alright, I'm not doing many RPGs these days, I'm more an RTS and Metroidvania kind of guy, but here's some sci-fi games I've had fun with, or heard good of:

Axiom Verge: retro-style Metroidvania... lots of cool HR Giger imagery, cool "creepy techno" soundratack too;

Ghost 1.0: bit of an humorous take on the Metroidvania genre, you fight robots and androids rather than aliens. The main character is literally a mashup between Samus Aran and Motoko Kusanagi, but with a snarky sense of humor. Also has a short prequel/demake called Mini-Ghost;

The Deadly Tower of Monsters: top view 3rd person shooter, inspired by the Weird Science era of sci-fi movie, pretty fun ;

FTL: pixel art-style "spaceship manager" game. You go around in your own ship, that can be customized, expanded or swapped with better ones and fight and explore the galaxy. Both comes with a story mode and some kind of survival mode, both rather challenging;

Deep Sky Derelicts: kind of like Darkest Dungeon, but in space. Artstyle is not as sharp and cool as DD, but it still look fairly entertaining, if you're into the genre;

Warhammer40k Battlefleet Gothic Armada: 4x game, if you want some spaceship porn, this one's definately a good pic. Has a fairly long and fun campaign, no real need to know much of Warhammer if you aren't already into it. It's also getting a sequel in a few months, with an already playable beta;

Warhammer40k Gladius: kind of like a Civilization game, but set in the Warhammer40 setting and with factions. Getting its first expansion rather soon. Probably the best recent 40k game that came out;

Aven Colony: space colony manager, set in a fictional planet in a relatively remote future. Lots of cool looking sci-fi architecture, and decent variety of buildings, mechanics and environments;

Surviving Mars: more realisti space colony manager, centered around martial colonization in a near future. Good gameplay, but the story mode isn't quite finished, because additional story content has been locked in the season pass for the game, unfortunately;

These are few that came to mind, either played through them already, or are in my wishlist and I've heard good things about them.
