I. Am. Furious.
Like, so beyond angry that I dont even know what to do with myself.
Miyamoto is a goddamned hack.
Already knew about all that, and still annoying as hell to this day. Pure BS. And the logic given for the changes and decisions make no damn sense. A perfect case where Executive Meddling destroyed a series. Miyamoto's created masterpieces, but he can make mistakes like the rest of us. No one's immune to having a colossal fuckup. And this was one major fuckup.
Also rage inducing is that club nintendo survey, where apparently only idiots with no understanding or appreciation of the series' strengths participated. If you don't like story and RPG elements, then don't play Paper Mario! Don't strip bare everything that gave it its identity and soul!
Sticker Star did well in Japan, and terrible in the West. Color Splash will probably perform the same.

.
I'm increasingly convinced that a lot of Miyamotos accomplishments were other peoples successes that were attributed to him in order to maintain his "brand". There are so many "Miyamoto games" that Nintendo has released that he has taken credit fr when, if you look at the actual credits, he had almost no direct involvement in.
Even those little Pikmin short movies named him as the director, but when you looked at the credits for each movie, he didn't actually direct any of them.
I feel like 30 years from now, when we are talking about the history if the industry in a more historical sense, Miyamoto is going to be seen in a much harsher light. A man who, later in his referrer, took credit for work that weren't his, and ultimately was only an "idea guy" with an extraordinarily narrow minded view, and extremely short temper..
I am not OK right now.

Yay, the Pay to Spray (to quote Jim Sterling) gimmik from Overwatch is spreading... how delightful. How soon before we're literally charged by the minute to play games?!

I was at dentist today and he removed my tooth.
It hurts right now, physically and emotionally. :-/

yeah, but look at the bright side you didn't have braces on when you had your tooth pulled.
That hurts like hell.

It's also better to get braces after all your baby teeth have dropped. Had to pull out four of those, which wasn't a pleasant experience either.

True.
But try get four new teeth at once, that's how I got my baby teeth and how I got my adult teeth every time and I mean that literally.
Hurts like hell and messed up my teeth (I literally have an entire row of pictures of me smiling from kinder garden class to 9th class of my school years to remind me how messed up my teeth looked for many years, before I got braces).

I really want a picture of Kammy Koopa with the subheading "Im with her".
And like a half crumpled Paper Kamek in a trashcan.
And for good measure, one of Rawk Hawk that says "Make Paper Mario great again!"

I always thought Kamek was boring, too. Never understood the love he gets from the fan community. Kammy actually has personality, agency, humor, and compliments Bowser perfectly.

Talk about a missed opportunity to make fun of that whole tracer butt event.
This would have been the funniest thing in the game.

Today, October the 14th would have been my fathers birthday.
I had a little drink, lit a candle, re-read the eulogy I wrote, and played the song he requested for his funeral.

Full of unproven allegations, using leaked emails as evidence even though emails don't prove what he claims, full on conspiracy theorist and then tries to weasel out that he's not actually endorsing Trump.
Oh yeah, putting Trump in such positive light in video, especially by the end of it, is not implying Trump endorsement. Oh no, he's totally not hinting at anything.
Either Sargon is a completely manipulative liar or he has no self-awareness.

But I hope the ISIS scum get turned into paste.

Mosul has been under de-facto siege for past year. Everyone knew offensive is coming soon. Such massive military operation to take a major city with 2 million people can not go unnoticed.
Instead, announcement is a good propaganda to lift the spirits to people that war in Iraq is ending soon as ISIS's capital will be smashed. As well intimidation for ISIS fighters and sympathizers to desert their ranks at overwhelming force coming toward them.

Or letting them know that the campaign is beginning, so they can dig in, button up, and plant more EFPIEDs, VBIEDs, 500lb IEDs, and Dhska's at every city entrance.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Ever since Iraq took Baiji a year ago, Mosul was put under a de-facto siege as Iraqi Kurdistan took Kursi mountains long before.
ISIS has been fortifying Mosul for past year, while trying to delay Iraqi military as much as possible. Iraq needed to take few more towns to be in position to attack Mosul, while Iraqi Kurdistan refused to attack Mosul without Iraq taking part of the offensive too.
As well Iraq needed to defeat ISIS in Ramadi and Fallujah, to secure their fronts close to Baghad. Although battle of Fallujah was such a massive success that ISIS front completely collapsed and had to mass retreat to just villages and towns close to Iraqi-Syrian border. Which meant Iraq had liberate far more then they planned to.
But needless to say, this continues to delay offensive on Mosul. ISIS has been ready for this final last stand for months. Trying to be sneaky is pointless.
