Ah, it's been a rough day. How you guys doing?
Been listening to Ricky Garvais, Steve Merchant, and Karl Pilkington from when they did a show on some radio station called XFM. Really enjoying the style of humor, it runs a range.

Today its passive aggressive emails. Tomorrow its "In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that devastate the mounds of humanity. Out of the chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God. The title suits me well."
When the A.I. rebellion happens and humanity is being slaughtered/harvested by the millions, I'll know it was Google's fault.

Pretty good.
I've established a nice groove for exercising.
A book I've been waiting for finally arrived.
My best friend is getting married in a couple weeks, so that will be fun.

Imperial Victory on Nethamus
“This week, the campaign passes the halfway point. The battles were closer than ever, but Nethamus remains in Imperial hands. It was far from smooth sailing, however – Chaos managed to hold on to a convincing lead around Convoy Druseus, while The Neck remained a key battleground throughout the week. With a few more points for Chaos, who knows what could have happened? Going into Week 4 of the Campaign, the Imperium must be feeling pretty good about their determined defence. The battle is now moving on to the next planet, Vanitor, which was only recently the site of the Konor Astropathic Relay. Thanks to the efforts of the Chaos invaders, it is now the location of a screaming, endless warp rift. The consequences for the rest of the system could be dire if Chaos can consolidate their gains here…”
For the love of Khorne, Tzeentch, Slannesh and Nurgle, get your shit together Chaos. And what are the Xenos players doing? Are there no Tyranids or Necrons or Orks willing to jump in?

I like the subtext that they'd really like the non-Imperial forces to do just that. The tone reads, "Please don't make this a sweep, let Chaos win, c'mon, they're still cool."
The eclipse should hit the east coast...around 2:30 PM, skimming the article. I should be finishing up the day's labor by then, or near to it. Hope it lasts long enough for me to remember and run out to not look directly into it, heh.

As it should be. Chaos needs to get its teeth kicked in and GW needs to accept that. Especially with how fuckawful their campaigns have gone when they decided to just out and out ignore player results..

The most irritating thing is how they keep shunting away the xenos, despite the Eldar and the Tyranids alone being 2 of the best selling armies in the game for years, and keep flashing out Chaos despite it by definition not be able to strike and any major and lasting victory, because that would pretty much spell doom for the Imperium. Even the fall of Cadia was fudged up, and now the planet is ripped in two but can be "reclaimed" somehow.

Had to be a genuine mailman for the first time in my life today. I kinda liked it. Aside from wearing a mail vest that made me nauseous during all the cycling, it was a bit fun. Was able to be outdoors, get some exercise from running from door to door, not have my boss' eyes in my neck all the time. It was daytime for a change.

Also annoying is that Chaos is the worst faction to use to move the story forward. (Chaos already achieved their win condition millennia ago with the Horus Heresy. The Ruinous Powers like the galaxy the way it is and fight to keep their playground/banquet preserved. They just don't tell the Traitor Marines and other mortal servants because they're dicks.) If they want to progress the setting, use the Necrons or the Tyranids or the Tau or the Eldar. Or hell, introduce a new faction. Sharing the spotlight won't diminish Chaos. They'll always be there in the background with their omnipresent malice. What GW is doing now is diminishing Chaos, ironically.
I'm still hoping for a massive Tyranid invasion that forces almost everyone to drop what they're doing and team up just to have a chance against the might of a proper ‘Nid attack force. No more "scouting parties" or "investigative bites" or "curiosity probes". A real, true, OMNOMNOMOM invasion.

I absolutely agree Chaos needs to get its teeth kicked in. After smashing Cadia, opening up new fuck-huge warp rifts around the galaxy, and the Daemon Primarchs finally getting off their lazy asses, they deserve some losses, and the other factions are in desperate need of some spotlight too. But having the Imperium win in a sweep is just boring. I want them to struggle and earn their victories.

Piccolo and 16 look like a lot of fun to play.
Sweet, Krillin and 18 have a combo move together.

Lucky coincidence the Sun is 400 times farther than the moon and 400 times bigger. Because of that we accidentally discovered the Sun's corona. It's right there in the middle.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
We discovered the corona because eclipses allowed ancients a brief, probably unwise, glimpse at the sun?
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Risky Boots mini-campaign for Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero is out for backers today, regular folks in a week or so. Pretty damn good. Did 100% in 2:41, but I've beaten the base game several times, so I know the maps and bosses more or less. Her kit is more fun than Shantae's, dances aside, and she's a combat monster real quick once you upgrade. Starts a little harder, but gets trivial once you fully upgrade a few things, which comes fast. Shorter, since there's no gem-economy, just ammo for her various weapons or health, and the collectibles are mostly the old ones, few obvious ones, and faster to get. You can't get them all without doing all 5 (reused) maps and bosses first, so that's probably the smart path, then double back and fully clear out each level.
More cheesecake though, the hub is literally a lightly animated RIsky in a bathtub finding inventive ways to not make the ESRB mad. Rawr. New enemies, giant scorpion monster girl, bat monster girl whose outfit disintegrates when she dies, little mummy thing.
Not sure what it'll cost retail, but it was fun, worth buying if you liked the game at all.

I think more precisely a brief glimpse at what is the sun's atmosphere.

I am not favoring Raiden at all, but Hellboy makes up for that tenfold. NRS should just make some massive crossover fighting game, considering how many guest fighters MKX reeled in from horror movies.

I know, right?
Imagine a game were Starfire, Sub-Zero, Kratos, Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, a Predator, and a Xenomorph could all fight each other.

Papa Nurgle is the best (least awful) Chaos god so it makes sense his army would be so cool.
Also 40k art really loves the "Literal mountain of infantry" action shots.

$40 solely for the shipping cost of 2 kg of canned goods from Britland to America.
Meanwhile it's cheaper to catch fish in Mississippi, send it to China for processing, then ship it back for sale, than to have local workers do it.
Trade deals are wacky.
