https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xc7xHvxvCII agree with a lot of his points and ME2 was indeed plenty unbalanced in terms of gameplay and story, but it's still easily my favorite game in the trilogy because it wasn't as gloomy as ME3, but also not as stilted as ME1. The tone, while inconsistent, still managed to find a middle ground that I thoroughly enjoyed. Well, that and it came out during a heavy winter when I had little better to do with my time and was struggling with depression so that I'd cling to any amount of happiness that I could find.
Mostly because the characters acted like they had...well, character with personal goals and interests, instead of the walking, talking encyclopedias they were in ME1.
Also, THIS is how you criticize a game. By inspecting both the good and the bad sides of it in a manner that is flowing and informative instead of jumping from place to place and not just take a jab at something and say that it's trash or that something is simply awesome. Looking at the game on a larger scale and as a whole is how you do it, not nitpick about almost completely trivial could-have-been features for several videos.
Speaking of which, I've heard him do nothing but complain about the technical or story faults of the Mass Effect games, yet smudboy is one of the faster people to put out a video about them when more content is available. I have no idea why he even bothers any more.
