Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
It's because cis straight white males are boring so they can only enjoy Humans and blue humans.

Not really a surprise at this point, but more proof of what we already knew.
Alas, they did not disclose their Ryder's gender in their preview.
Edit: They played as FemRyder.
Vetra is at least (and probably only) available to female characters.
So far my predictions have been spot on.
Speaking of which: http://www.gameinformer.com/games/mass_ ... -game.aspx
Enemies are still bullet sponges and the guns feel kind of weak as a result, but the powers you can use during combat are fierce and made me feel powerful.
This is not something I want to hear. The guns were like half the fun in ME3 for me.

Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
Why do i get the distinct impression that the only aliens a straight male get are asari?
Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
Jeez do they think males dont want to swoon female aliens?
Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
DarkStorm wrote:Jeez do they think males dont want to swoon female aliens?
you are asking a company who put every human looking squad mate in tight spandex on a suicide mission to show off their *coughs* features, gave Ashley bimbo looks in ME3 and gave Liara, Tali and Ashley an increased cup size for their breasts in the sequels.
Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
and you think male players dont want to romance a female turian?
Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
I had a twitter conversation with they guy who made the gamespot video, he said he can't talk about romances but he said there seems to be a lot of options.

Of course I think they do, because I'm one of them.
But you know the charts companies follows says otherwise.

Lets see....
Im predicting that some quarians tried to make this trip long ago. And we will find their remains, and their settlement. But TWIST some of these remains are fresh. So we will follow the path some more and discover a few of them still alive, descended from the original travelers.

I wonder how they're going to depict the Milky Way in the game? It's 2.5 million lys away, meaning they'll see the MW as it was 2.5 millions years on the past. That's 50 harvest cycles ago. Every intelligent species as we know it is in their extreme infancy, if even existing in one way or another. It's really someone else's galaxy back then.

Pretty sure she won't. My bets are on a "funnier"/quirkier version of Liara, that will have very litte characters flaws.
Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
christ there better be customization for these faces cause these default faces are fugly as shit
Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
Dr Lexi is voiced by Natalie Dormer?

Well... shit. I might have found a waifu in this mess.

When you're drowning in Asari, but all you want is Turian or Quarian.

I really fucking appreciate that characters are the right sizes now. I love that Vetra is a fucking giant, like she's supposed to be.

I hope this game frinally adds some asari repellent.
like a spray bottle. Every time an asari starts getting a little too touchy feely i can spray them and shout "No! Down!"

Isn't that just life experience? You go to school thinking you'll make tons of friends and get a girlfriend then decide that even if that doesn't happen, you'll make the best of it.

Re: Bioware General (Mass Effect/Dragon Age/Other)
So some stuff no one has mentioned yet that i saw in a eurogamer article.
Drak is more like a much more "mature" Wrex than he is Grunt.
Vetra has a little sister she is taking care of, and has a personality "Much closer to Tali than Garrus."
Apparently Drak and Vetra have a squad banter where they subtly boats back and forth about their combat skills.
Im actually getting pretty damned excited about Drak.

That's pretty much where I'm at. Dragon Age: Inquisition was such a flat and lifeless experience for me, that I have low expectations that BioWare can pull themselves out of slow spiral into storytelling mediocrity. Ah, well. We'll soon see what the final game will be like.

So am I. Krogan have always been one of my favorite races, and I am pleased with what they've shown so far with Drak.
