Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Man, I don't believe I've ever actually made a steak. I've done clams, pork, chicken, fish, and so much more, but never had a steak on hand. Odd.
Fun fact I only just learned: Dampen chicken, dip in the flour mix, _then_ the batter, then the flour again. That's how you get it to fry up right.
Also these Kirkland beers are like $.50 each and pretty damn tasty for the cost. 7 in and barely buzzed though.

A good option, but i recommend making your own mixture of flour and whatever spices you want. Dip the chicken in milk, cover in your flour mix, dip in the milk again, flour mix, dip in milk, flour mix.
Then fry that. It works well for me, and I've yet to find chicken strips that are as good.
My flour mix is generally flour, salt, rosemary, parsley, ginger, thyme, sage, black pepper, red pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
That's what I meant, flour as shorthand for the dry flour/spice mix.
I use a Cajun seasoning that has most of that, actually. Still figuring out proportions, and last time, I needed to cut the chicken into smaller pieces. I had a batter instead of milk. Flour, salt, pepper, egg, water in the batter, then flour, salt, pepper, spices, in the dry mix.
Need to refine it with more seasoning though.

Trust me, you dont need more than the four, spices and milk.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
I'll give it a shot next time I make fried chicken. I've done more cooking in the last year than the previous few decades combined, so many different recipes to try. Have some onions I aim to try homemade onion rings with today or tomorrow.

So in the most conservative biased poll in US, Donald Trump is still losing to Hillary by 2 points.
lol
Not even skewed poll in his favour can get him to even have a small lead.

When you run for office in hopes of having a white power awakening, you deserve something far worse than the loss.

Well Trump brand is losing it's worth, as many business don't want to associate themselves with Trump. So at least it hurts where it matters to Trump.
Also fun fact. While Trump is having an overwhelming lead among US white men in polls against Hillary, those numbers are also falling on his support. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised he'd lose elections with barely 1/3 of vote for him.

Ultimately it doesn't matter how badly he loses, he's going to be viewed as a hero for the 'downtrodden'.
Because, you know...Establishment is bad, regulation is bad.

Fixing the leaky faucet in my shower sounds easy enough. Repairing the water shut off valve is...ugh. An easy project day just turned into a pleasantly wait for the professional to show up day.
Also, I haven't been able to cook a good steak in...years. I just can't figure it out. I let it rest before I cook. Salt and pepper it while it sits there. Very hot cast iron pan (It's what I have) little bit of oil. Drop it on there. Flip it after a couple minutes then take off shortly after that. Let it rest covered for five minutes. Then I have to chew through a tasteless grey piece of matter while rethinking the choices I've made in my life.

Yeah. Miranda understands.

beating it with a tenderizing hammer will help but beating it with anything will work as well. Grey? sound like you either cooked it too long or didnt cook it enough.

That is sadly true and it will be, hell, it already is a worldwide viewed like that by many radicals, populists and reactionaries.
Trump is a hero that these sort of people desire to take charge of their country and it's scary as shit.

Yeah, protip from a painter: Don't let water leaks ever sit. Because fixing them is going to cost you (homeowner) a ton of money if you let it sit.
Do you let the meat get to room temperature first? Knob of butter in the pan to baste?

Don't fall into the trap of confirmation bias. This is going to be a close election. There's far too many variables to really know how it will play out, and complacency on Hillary's side would be a terrible mistake. It's too easy to believe "good news" when the messenger shouldn't be trusted.
For example, there were reports of Hillary's campaign stopping ads in swing states she has in the bag, according to polls. That's not only not true, as it was only Hillary super PACs that pulled out, her campaign itself is still running them, but it also creates an aura of overconfidence that a nationalist populist can exploit. It's an ugly fight, and it will come down to the bitter end.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Clinton's super PAC isn't spending as much on adds in swing states mainly because Trump's campaign is in complete chaos and have yet to do advertisement blitz. So it looks like Clinton campaign is going with cost-effective route as there's no need to do full on advertisement blitz so early as Trump's campaign can't even stand on it's legs.
Ofcourse they can not afford to be overconfident, that would just give weakness for Trump to exploit. But Hillary is smart and she probably knows better then anyone one of us how to run her campaign.

Keep in mind there's gonna be an whole lot of old and/or ignorant people falling for Trump's bullshit that don't know how to use a PC nor trust people going around asking their opinions for the pre-election esteemes.
It's the same thing that happened with the Brexit. Nobody was expecting that to really happen, because they didn't keep in account all the old farts still stucked with the myth of the Britannic Empire that can always do better by itself. And that at the same time alot of younger and, supposed, smarter people weren't gonna care enough to vote.
So don't trust the projections, nor the overconfidence of any party in these kind of election. Whatever happens is gonna be messy, and painful and there will be no way to tell who wins or lose until the damage is already done.

Steak needs to be on a grill, unfortunately. They make electric grills that could be used inside, and they work remarkably well. I was given one, and i can pretty much cook the steak perfectly every time be it medium well for me, or almost raw for my wife.

Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
That's all great and all. But won't matter much.
Nesta Carter, who was one of four in Jamaica 4x100 team in Peking had failed his re-test and got busted from doping. And if they will got with their own rules, then it means that if one of team get busted from doping use, then whole team will be disqualified.
So, that will sadly be end of that triple-triple.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Brexit had big voter turnout though, as 72% of registered voters went to vote. In fact, 63% of young voters in UK went to vote. That's huge voter turnout for country without compulsory voting law and big population.
So voters were mobilized to vote heavily, yet way more old people went to vote. 65+ age group had 90% voter turnout. That's also pretty huge and way above standards of average Western democratic countries.
To compare, in last US elections voter turnout was 55% for Obama's close victory in popular vote( 51%), but still resulted in overwhelming electoral vote which is much more important for US.

Its on camera. they can take the medals away all they want, he still won, and nothing changes that.

Yeah, Trump and Brexit seems to be using same modus operandi.
Tell lot of half-truths, twisted and exaggerated facts and outright lies. And then tell all of these in so appealing way (with great speeches and so) that people won't even think of confirming, if said things are actually true. It's doubly effective, if you managed to find someone to blame of troubles at home.
Brexit for example blamed EU and it's costly and overbearing politics. Another thing with Brexit was immigration issues. Yes, this matter wasn't officially part of Brexit campaigning in anyway, but what I have read, lot of brits thought that it was part of vote or even main matter in whole vote. They were voting against immigration and probably EU policies concerning it, not the actual EU association.
For Trump, he and his campaign uses mexican's and muslism in this role. It's so easy to blame them for many of the problem, especially mexican's, when it comes to various employment issues.
And I totally agree, whatever happens in elections, it's going to be messy. The basis isn't even really good, considering so many americans seems to hate Clinton on principle (there are those opposite too). Same way, some people just can't stand Trump and his "politics" either, while some think he is best thing ever. In this case, no matter who wins, people won't be happy this time.
i actually wouldn't be at all surprised, if this years voter turnouts would take really sharp decline from few previous times. As for many people, there is situation, where you have two bad candidates. Maybe even so bad, that you can't vote either of them.
Anyway, there will be interesting times, the closer we get at November.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
As far as I’m concerned, Trump and Hillary are two sides of the same coin. America is fucked no matter who wins.
Both the Dems and the GOP are corrupt, greedy, power-hungry, out-of-touch institutions that screw the USA over on a weekly basis. And its only going to get uglier the closer we get to Election Day. And even uglier after we have a winner.

First of, that's bad example as that disqualification came from whole different matter. It was not about doping, but being officially too young to participate in Olympics at the time.
As for Bolt, it depends on how you view it. If they do disqualify Jamaica's team from Peking, it kind of invalidates that 4x100 gold. It won't change the fact that Bolt won it, but officially, it just doesn't matter anymore.
I'm just happy that I don't have to make decision concerning Bolt's case. As WADA and others who make these decision are really back against the wall here. Bolt is so huge star, who just made history and is ending his olympic career. It would be horrible to besmirch that legacy so soon.
But they don't have much options really. As US team did lose their London 2012 silver medal, because one of the members was busted from doping use. But if they won't do the same for Jamaica now..... no matter what they do with this matter, it's will upset people.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Well, bad news then, because Trump appears to be finally pivoting to the center. Early voting is starting quite soon in some places, I hear, so if this is his third act redemption arc, he better fucking hurry up. Though there's rumblings he's even going to soften the illegal alien deportation stance too, possibly call for a 'touchback' system where illegals in good standing have to physically touch ground in Mexico before coming back in on some legal visa thing. Could be bullshit though.
However, three speeches in a row where he spent a lot of time talking about "African Americans" and reading from a teleprompter. So we'll see what his chances look like if he stays on message and out of slap fights, and possibly, maybe, stops saying things that people can exploit. A few pollsters are showing the gap closing. Buckle up, boys, there's no getting off Mr. America's Wild Ride.
What's interesting is what happens after the election, regardless of who wins. We have one guy who's being painted as Literally Hitler by his opponents, Hillary is Basically Mao according to hers, and both have abysmal numbers for likability. There was a poll done just recently that showed something like half of Hillary supporters don't think their votes will be recorded accurately, and only 10% of Trump supporters think theirs will. Might be a real legitimacy issue for whoever wins, where an angry, loud portion of the electorate think their votes weren't registered and their new ruler is widely loathed.

It will be the coldest, darkest day in hell before Trump gets any significant black support. If Bernie Sanders couldn't do it, Trump never will.
Re: Tali'Thread vas Clan Zorah nar BSN 6.0
Significant in this case would be like 10%+. Romney pulled in, what, 2%?
Such a shame Bernie couldn't figure that one out. Hillary was carried on the black vote in quite a few states.
