Viking Chief succumbs to his wounds. Valkyries or angels come down from the afterlife to take his soul but demons suck him down to hell to met their master. The dark horned god and the chief come to an understanding. Eldar's soul burns in the underworld and his killers remain at large in the world of the living. Chief takes the dark lord's offer, casting off his humanity and becoming reborn as an agent of the infernal powers to get one last chance at vengeance against Spear and Fang.

Mira is anxious to get back to her home, but Fang wants to stay put until her eggs hatch. Spear and Mira manage to convince her to take the eggs with them on the boat after some comedic hijinks, convincing her by building a nest inside the boat.

They hit the high seas, but are attacked by a colossal ship, a ship so vast its like a floating island fortress containing a whole nation of people, run by some Egyptian looking dudes and operated by tons of slaves. The Egyptian soldiers aren't a problem, but then they break out their ace up their sleeve: a giant demigod of a man, super-strong and tough as nails, strong enough to fight Fang 1v1 and durable enough to tank arrows to the neck and Fang's jaws around his arms and shoulders. One of Fang's 3 eggs is destroyed in the struggle, much to Fang's horror. The Egyptians' leader, some evil Pharaoh-Queen with a passion for slavery, gets our trio to surrender by threatening to destroy the remaining eggs. Props for making the Pharaoh-Queen a character you really want to see die in a gruesome manner despite he limited screen time and no dialogue. Props to that. By the end of this mini-arc, I hope Fang eats her alive.

The demigod man is a slave himself, seems like he only works for them because they have something over him to force his compliance. Probably a family member held prisoner under threat of death if he doesn't submit, I'd wager. You can tell he hates doing what he's doing, but has no choice. I'd also wager that Spear and this guy will team up to overthrow these slavers at some point int the near future, once the Pharaoh-Queen no longer have any hold over them, but Fang probably won't be forgiving; at the end of the day he is the one responsible for one of her eggs breaking. And she's mad as fuck.

Pharaoh-Queen uses Spear and Fang as weapons of war in her campaign against another civilization, this one looks Babylonian in nature. Spear and Fang are furious but comply to keep the eggs safe. Pharaoh-Queen picks up on their bond, as if pondering how she can exploit it.

Spear and Fang find themselves in D-Day meets the Battle of Minas Tirith, killing legions of Persian troops and giant elephants before laying siege to the capital, proving to be one-man armies unto themselves. Both of them are feeling a ton of rage and right now these poor Persian dudes are their only outlet to vent it, and the threat of the eggs being smashed compels them. Spear and Fang are used to fighting prehistoric terrors much worse than these threats, so they make short work of them. It's like watching level 80 characters in an RPG fighting level 10s.

We see things like Fang grabbing a battering ram in her jaws and using it to smash down the huge doors to the city and Spear disembowels a giant elephant with a khopesh and climbs sheer walls with ease when other men need ladders. I love this show so goddamn much. Pump this shit right into my veins!

Man, Spear and Fang really get put through the wringer in this. Already down an egg, enslaved, and forced to wipe out other tribes for the benefit of a tyrannical despot. And they have an undead viking empowered by a demon-god hunting them now, too. Shit got real, real fast!

Primal continues to put me through the emotional wringer. And only 2 more episodes left before the season's over! I'm not ready!

Haven't seen a villain I've actively hated this much in a long time. Hated as in that's exactly what the creators wanted you to feel. Hopefully a suitably fitting and painful demise is coming.

Viking dad now turned Fire Demon Golem climbs out of Hell and sets off to claim his revenge. Water does not seem to be a weakness.
Pharoah-Queen is one evil bitch. She carries herself like every despicable despot in history all rolled up into one.
The demigod man's daughter is being used against him, like Fang's eggs are being used against her and Spear.
These Egyptians go around raiding and reaving other costal civilizations for treasure, food, resources, slaves. We saw them attack Babylonians last episode, here Spear and Fang are forced to fight ancient Chinese/Japanese, Romans, what looked like European knights, another ocean-faring mobile empire Sea People with their own giant ship, and more. Each battle our protagonists are forced to slaughter whole civilizations just to live another day and keep the eggs safe, returning back blooded but unbeaten, but unable to change their fate.
War... war never changes...
Mira is forced to be a slave dancer for the queen's court.
Time skip of several months, hard to say how long, long enough for the baby cheetah/leopard to reach adulthood but not enough time for Fang's eggs to hatch.
They reach fantasy ancient India and the locals try to stave off annihilation by placating the Egyptians with offerings, but the Queen is not impressed with their gifts and orders the demigod man to murder them all. He silently begs her not to make him do this, but threatening his daughter forces him to comply even though its fucking him up mentally, and kills all the defenseless Indians. Even Spear and Fang are disturbed at the level of unnecessary carnage, even after everything they've been forced to do and seen throughout this series.
Spear sympathizes with the demigod understanding he's in the same position they're in. Remains to be seen if Fang would be willing to go that far, given that he did smash one of her eggs last episode, even if it was unintentional.
Spear gets an idea to escape, and goes on a Metal Gear stealth mission to try to rescue the eggs and the demigod's child. Fang wants to come, but obviously that wouldn't be good for sneaking around so she stays in her pen, and the demigod is so broken at this point he's probably lost all hope of freedom or redemption and doesn't take Spear's offer to join him.
Spear reaches the Queen's court and takes out her guards, but surprisingly the Queen herself proves she's not just a spoiled, pampered royal because she's actually been trained how to fight and holds her own against Spear. Classic example of brute strength and savage instinct vs speed and technique that's been polished and honed to a razor's edge. She lands more blows, but Spear is more than durable enough to take it. Like Vega fighting Zangief in Street Fighter.
Mira gets the eggs and the daughter, but not before the alarm is rung.
Worst timing ever: the eggs hatch in the middle of the breakout. The dino babies begin crying, and upon Fang hearing them goes into full Mama Bear mode and shows that she could have broken out of her cage at any time if she wanted to.
The Queen and her full compliment of soldiers overwhelm our heroes, even with Fang's additional help, because the Queen takes back the daughter and Fang's babies and holds them hostage.
The demigod, upon hearing the uproar on deck, seemingly curious if Spear and Fang might actually prove to be his chance at liberation and saving his daughter, comes out but finds that the Queen once again has all the cards to regain control, and will no doubt order him to kill Spear and Fang. Cliffhanger ending.

And with that, the the Colossaeus trilogy arc of Primal is concluded:

-our giant friend has a backstory: he and his village of fellow giants lived a peaceful, pacifistic life until they were enslaved by the Egyptians, and we later learn that the Egyptians took all of them, and the rest are used to move the oars for the Egyptians' colossal ship. Being violent is so against their way of life, only one of them could muster the will to fight back, and that was thanks to his fatherly instincts to protect his daughter, which the Pharaoh-Queen used against him to get him to be her weapon and crush his will.
-The giant, having found kinship with Spear and Fang and Mira, and having a sliver of hope again for the first time in who knows how long, decides to take a shot at rescuing his daughter, and frees them from their chains.
-big fight ensues, lots of carnage, Fang's babies get their first kill after watching their mom go to work.
-Spear vs Pharaoh-Queen round 2, and Pharaoh-Queen can fight. She's an evil bitch, but she knows her way around a blade.
-the giant finds the other enslaved giants thanks to his daughter and manages to convince them to overthrow their oppressors with violence.
-with Fang's babies at risk, our heroes jump ship.
-the giants slaughter the Egyptian warriors and claim the ship.
-our giant friend gets his revenge against the Queen, throwing her to her doom. Stage fatality. As satisfying as her death was, it could have been better, I think. I was hoping the giant would rip her apart.
-Spear, Mira, Fang, and her babies are given a ship of their own and sail off.
-Viking Chief turned Fire Demon has almost caught up to them, walking on fucking water, across the very ocean itself, determined to chase our protagonists to the ends of the earth to get his revenge. This episode ended on such a happy note--now the dark consequences of their actions have literally come back to bite them and threatens to take away their hard won victory and their lives. Though to be fair, it was only thanks to the intervention of a dark god that's allowed this to happen, they never could have predicted or prepared for a Diabolus Ex Machina of such supernatural magnitude.
-Looks like Mira finally gets back to her homeland next week if the promo is any guide, though the folks of her village don't seem very welcoming or trusting of Spear, Fang, and her babies. Understandably, granted, but still. This might be the culmination of some of the underlining themes of this season: that Spear and Fang have no real place in the world beyond each other, they're too "civilized" to go back to the way they lived before they befriended each other, especially after all they've experienced, but too "wild" to ever feel at peace or accepted in the more advanced cultures of this new land. That the world is moving forward without them, leaving them behind. That they might only be able to forge a life for themselves with each other and no one else, even with someone like Mira to vouch for them to others. But perhaps Mira's people will warm up to them if they save them from the wrath of the Fire Demon that's right behind them. Or maybe they'll return back to the savage, prehistoric continent they hailed from. Or maybe they'll die in battle with their infernal pursuer. We'll have to see.
-I'm not ready for next week! There's a strong chance of either Spear or Fang or even both dying and I'm not emotionally prepared for that! I'm both super hyped for AND dreading the season finale!
