Been playing Breath of the Wild again and i just want to take a moment to say that the Link and Mipha relationship is WAY more explicit than I remember.

It is abundantly clear they they had mutual feelings for one another.

@Sci: Yeah, I got my ass slapped around too, in the bad way, at first. Then the combat system clicked around the time you first get to the mall entrance, and I was able to slap their asses the rest of the way through. Other than boss fights, one in particular did not mesh with my depth perception.

You mean the spider girl or the rubble throwing fu manchu guy? We had to quit the fu manchu guy fight to come back later after we get some better equipment or more HP.

Yeah, not sure what put me down, was either a breakfast sandwich or a roast, but eh. Didn't make me vomit, only feel like it, so I'd call it "mild." Got myself an old Ryoko (From Tenchi Muyo!) action figure that I had when I was a kid, but went "missing" for reasons. Gift to myself. Nice to have something back for once.

You know what's funny? The Japanese version of BotW is much, much more in favor of Link x Zelda instead of Link x Mipha compared to the Western version of the game, which means there were folks at Nintendo of America and Europe who were Team Mipha that tweaked a few things in the translation/localization process. Us Westerners really like the Zoras.

Given that Midna is not an anthropomorphic animal like say, Krystal from Starfox, nor has fur in either her true form or her imp form, I would say no. She's more akin to the "dark elf" archetype, and I wouldn't count elves to be furries. I will agree that she's just "non-human" enough to qualify as a "Monster Girl", to use to the popular parlance. (The kids still say that, right? :lol:

For one thing, in the Japanese version, there's quest journal entries written from Link's perspective, giving insights into his personal thoughts and feelings during his adventures, about his likes and dislikes, and about his memories, and there's a lot of stuff in there that hints at Link x Zelda.

But I don't pay too much attention to it, as while I wont deny that Link x Zelda is cute in BotW, and we're probably going to see more of that in BotW 2, I'm Team Mipha. Even if she is dead. (Link, you fool, hunt down and use the Triforce to make a wish, dammit. Go full Dragonball on this shit.)

I believe i have recently mentioned that i decided to switch to a new stock broker, and have been going through the (agonizing) process of moving from Wells Fargo (who didn't do a goddamned thing), to Edward Jones.

Basically changing my investment philosophy to be more appropriate to the current market. ( and actually make money instead of somehow remaining stagnant in the best market we had in years.)

Aaaaanyway this is all just a long winded approach to mention that as of today I now own a whole 20 shares of Nintendo.

Well keep in mind that I have a huge advantage here. Inheritance and all that. Plus I have the help of a talented financial advisor.

To quote my guy, "I have people just out of prison with $1000 in their accounts, and I have people with a couple million."

So honestly any amount is worth starting with so long as you keep with it and invest wisely.
