All I ask of MK11 at this point, is Mileena, Reptile, and Smoke. Then that's my komplete roster.

Reptile has been all but officially konfirmed. As for Smoke and Mileena we don't know much about them. I kind of expect Mileena to be DlC and Smoke playable from the base game this time around, but that's just a hunch.

My sister and everyone else is watching the last season of Game of Thrones in the living room. Going through it a second time, it occurs to me that there's no one scene that's bad, it's just that the connective tissue between scenes and episodes severely lacking. Which, I suppose is what you get when you base a show off Cliff Notes instead of a full book.

Now let's find out if the next season is any good!

I look forward to the spoilers for the final season so I may pick apart how this or that totally won't happen in the books because of reasons.

None of it would happen. Because GRRM is too much of a misanthropic fuck to let his characters build up and have resolutions after they've been torn down, broken, and humiliated.

There's also a Final Jeopardy joke in here but it's tasteless. The man doesn't deserve this and I hope he spends his last days with his family.

The Legacy of Kain series deserves HD remasters, a final sequel to wrap things up from the original run*, spinoffs, and a reboot to start anew. That's a fictional universe with so much rich storytelling potential, its a waste to not do more things with it.

*Defiance ended with the first real, positive change for the world ever since shit hit the fan, but that was just the first step that would be a very long journey to see it reach its ultimate conclusion. And there were still big questions left unanswered. I wanted more adventures with Kain as the fully realized Scion of Balance, chatting telepathically with Raziel's soul who's now in his sword, and trying to find a way to expunge the parasitic Elder God from the Wheel of Fate for good… and then after saving Nosgoth, restoring Kain's empire and ruling from on high! Muwhahahaha!

I woke up today (yesterday) with my sternum in sharp pain from top to bottom. I have no idea why. Some days, it just happens, today was especially bad. What the fuck. It's as if the body falls to pot randomly once you hit 30.

My brother stopped by briefly today. He came up to go snowboarding with my dad for a few days, saw him for an hour before he left. Has to leave early for the airport.

Every time I see him, new stupid tattoos, but hey, that's the style. Bugs me that he's better looking and better stubble, given I'm 7 years older. But I'm taller and smarter, because I'm not double-majoring in foreign languages. Still a shy kid, but I think he hates me less now that puberty and memories of living together have faded.

We might even be friendly some day and include each other in our lives.
