Hitman is still one of the many games that I need to pick up. But tbh I also thought it was really stupid that they split up the game into episodes and it discouraged me to bother picking it up. Glad I was wrong about that thought.

I'm surprised they brung back that create a mission mode back. It was in the last hitman and I thought it was awful.

I'm surprised Funcom included full nudity in Exiles honestly, after seeing how their attitude seem to have changed in Dreamfall: Chapters compared to The Secret World and naturally, Age of Conan.

Apart from some performance issues and rubberbanding I've had, it seems decent enough otherwise.

New Horizons made a course correction today on it's way to another KBO (Kuiper Belt Object) which it will flyby on New Years 2019. The interesting thing I saw in the article is that it took information over 5 hours to get back to Earth which means on the map provided, which shows NH as the green dot and Earth, you can actually trace the speed of light.

So I apparently have a gum infection, presumably something from my wisdom tooth surgery that was lingering until now. Pus coming when the inflammation site is touched, mostly white and brown, so that's "good." Now I'm not going to bleed the cost of a dentist visit unless this thing is serious, because 'Murica. I'm doing salt water rinses and avoiding eating with that half of the mouth. Any of you been through this successfully?

Keep doing the rinses and drink water, avoiding less healthy foods.

Also, get that shit fixed. Dry socket is a painful ordeal. Watched an ex go through it after the dentist and I told her to not take the gauze out.

@Theo: Nope lol. Hope this shit doesn't spread.

@Mob: Sockets are healed, this is on the left molar closest to where the wisdom tooth was. Seems like whenever the gum is disturbed, pus comes up, so the infection is somewhere near the molar, which is worrying, since I kinda need that one. At least the rinse makes the pain go away for a while, and I'm drinking a ton of water. My body's a fighter. Or it better be, or I'll kick its ass.

I'd say it's the overabundance of effects that occurs at the same time. In the previous game, you could take in a lot of what was happening even when explosions and such were going off. This one seems to turn into a clusterfuck the second explosives are used. Which one could naturally argue is accurate.

Well, the closest thing I've had would be braces, which made eating anything solid after the monthly readjusting a very painful experience. Though, the mere thought of something happening to the flesh inside my mouth is a lot more frightening, since that's not as controlled or expected. Not to mention that I use that part of my body pretty often.

It's been literally over a decade since last time I painted miniatures. But I did spend half of that time in artschool, so I should have gotten better anyway lol I'm really curious to see how it goes, but I need the last paints, and the shipment is taking its sweet-ass time :p

The Emperor had already outlawed all religions centuries before making the Primarchs, but the Codex thing is spot on. He was actually one of the nicer Primarchs, and basically ran the entire Imperium right after the Horus Heresy until things became stable again and he stepped down, so he has experience ruling all of mankind.

But when he wakes up, and sees whats been going on, he's gonna freak. :lol:

But on the plus side, this is the best news the Imperium has had in a LONG time.

Who knows, maybe some of the other missing non-daemon Primarchs will find their way back, too. Such a drastic change in the status quo is going to piss off the Chaos Gods, unless this too is part of their machinations. If Tzeentch thought Khorne's faction was going a little overboard on the carnage, arranging events to bring back a Primarch or two to help the Imperium out to balance the scales is totally something he would do. Plans within plans within plans withinplanswithinplanswithinplans...

The IMDB forums are being shut down on February 20th.

This trend of giant companies destroying web communities, or at least choking the life from them, really fucking sucks. IMDB was great for looking up some old, forgotten movie or show or whatever, and finding a small discussion about whatever. But Amazon doesn't like that, so it's pulling the plug.

As someone on SA put it, this corporate consolidation of internet discussions is going to give us the awful parts of cyberpunk dystopia, the censorship, curated discussions, unavoidable advertisements, extreme datamining, without any of the cool shit, like robot limbs and flying cars.

Well, that happens when corporations are given more power than some governments without any obligations to uphold things like freedom of speech. That argument legit pisses me off, that censorship is only censorship if a government is doing it.

But yeah, good luck having a critical discussion on a shitty movie when the parent company owns half the big forums out there, they advertise really heavily on the other half, and everyone's long since accepted giving up their SSN in order to post on whatever's the big social media site at the time. There'll always be free enclaves, like here, until there isn't, because the free expression of ideas and creativity is a lure for the various cockheads of the world to impose order.
