Love of country, willingness to lay down everything for your brother and sister, fellow countrymen.

And knowing when to call bullshit when you see it. And right now Trump should've been eliminated from the running months ago.

I like my country to an extent, I would do anything for my family.

I can already see bullshit even if you disagree with it or not. I don't need the 'military' to see reason just because you flash that around doesnt mean you are right.

Oh well, I made a mistake in getting involved with her.

I've forgiven myself for reacting the way I did when I inadvertently hooked her up with her man, not sure if they're still together. Happy for her for leading a good life.

Kinda like how I'm happy you and Raga have something real.

You're still a twat.

It won't be half for Trump or Hillary. And even then, it'll be less than half of voters not the people as a whole. Self-selecting sample, you see.

Sorta like how if you held a normal vote on whether or not paid sex, drugs, and marrying your cousin should be legal, the actual results would be wildly different than if you mandated everyone voted.

This FBI thing is heating up. Polls are even tighter. Brett Baier, citing anonymous sources in the FBI, talked about quite a bit tonight, including possible indictments.

Colorado poll just out, a tie. Of 5 national polls, 3 are ties, one is Trump +6 (LA Times), one is Clinton +3 (YouGov).

Pennsylvania is still showing a 2-5 point favor for Clinton, Oregon is safe, but Michigan might be a race, as the polls are closing and she's heading up to Detroit to do an event.

Ted Cruz, El Rato, is set to campaign with Pence tomorrow. Really gonna target those ideological Midwest conservatives, I imagine. On 538, Clinton's sitting about 68% odds, with a big Trump surge in the last few days. If she can weather this all for 5 more days, she might win it.

I am not entirely confident that is a real person.

On that note, I am not entirely confident I live in the same plane of reality as most of the country, so maybe I'm the odd one out.

The effect of Comey's letter appears to have settled. NH is now a toss-up, Michigan is a toss-up according to RCP, and Trump's at a 35.7% chance according to 538.

So going into the final weekend, this is going to be close barring something yuge. Early voting so far appears to indicate some states are showing a depressed Dem turnout, which was expected, and a higher Rep, also expected. But we only know the party affiliation, not the actual votes, so drawing conclusions beyond that is dicey.

John Podesta, Hillary's campaign chair, apparently went to some avant garde "shock art" show at some point, Spirit Cooking, which involves using bodily fluids to do weird things, as well as having a black man covered in white powder tied nude to a tree, and a woman submerged in a vat of what looks like soy sauce while people eat spoonfuls of it. If you're used to how dipshits try to be edgy artists, it's not outlandish. But on Twitter Trump's army is pushing hard that it's Satanic/occult related. So the idea of Alex Jones being """""right""""" about Hillary being in league with Satan would be like a cosmic practical joke.

There's rumblings of a new, last minute attack on Trump, but so far it's yet to materialize. Might have been that new Red Scare push, but eh. Rumor is a video of him making more boorish comments or calling a black guy an Uncle Tom.

If Hillary wins it'll be a few years of waiting until the next election, but if Trump wins there better be a serious look into the primary process. Yes, the people get a say in a system where in the past only the party delegates got to choose a candidate and usually on one night, but there were a handful of competent R candidates at the beginning and they were weeded out by a small population before the rest of the country could vote for them. I never would have voted for Trump in a race between him, Christie and Rubio. But he was the only choice left when I got a chance to have my say. If anything must change in our country it has to be that. Our shitty primary process. Or change it back to the old way were the party machine chose.

This is going to be a fucking nail biter.

@Sci: That's the fear, actually. There's no way the GOP or Democrats will allow another outsider in again. Which, depending on your perspective, is effectively the end of a chance for radical change. Though the GOP's literally dying off, they'll have to do something to pull in new voters. But there won't be another Bernie or Trump after this if Hillary wins, and it's not like either of them had a fair shake. It was pure passion that pushed them so far, and Bernie got screwed, but Trump benefited bigly from a split field of so many guys who were effectively the same in comparison.

Because when a stranger runs up to a presidential candidate and quickly takes an unknown, hidden object out of their clothing...

The correct response is to do nothing?

You do understand that they would have done the same with Clinton right? What am i saying? Of course you dont understand.

The woman could go on stage and say she plans to start WW3 and kill the people that opposed her during the campaign and you'd still say she was the best choice.

The metal detectors at the entrance would've detected the supposed weapon. I'm pretty sure there's a No Conceal/Carry rule at these convention centers.

At that point she'd lose my vote. Good thing that's not the reality of the election.

I'm not blind to the situation, but I still voted for the right candidate. Trump is basically going for Hitler at this point, just swap out Muslims for Jews.

And Trump supporters are already threatening voters who are voting Hillary at the polls with firearms.

And I've had my Jeep once again vandalized just because I have a Hillary sticker.

"CBS/YouGov Poll,
Among Those Who Plan Voting On Election Day:

Ohio:
Trump 49 (+8)
Clinton 41

Florida:
Trump 51 (+16)
Clinton 35"

So this implies the Dems really frontload their votes, which makes sense, for various reasons.

The scope of the investigation, as per the letter, were emails to or from Clinton during her reign as SoS, so that would have narrowed down the number from 650k, and the DoJ was involved in expediting it, for whatever that's worth. So while I'm disappointed, it's too early to suspect collusion or threats.

I mean, I suspect that was the case, but there's no proof, and it wouldn't be right to assume that's what happened, given it's plausible nothing new was found that proved the intent Comey decided was necessary for the law to be enforced.

I'm not surprised what so ever, happen when our former primeminister got elected, she had just gotten away along with her husband with tax evasion and it even was so obvious that it was surprising she got elected, although to be fair it was a very narrow win.

Trump likely has Florida. She probably has Virginia, way too many GOP establishment types there for him to win. Michigan might flip, there's a tied poll floating out today, though it obviously leans Clinton in others. PA is anyone's guess, though I heard the transportation union strike in Philly is continuing through Election Day, which would be dark comedy if it swayed the vote.

Colorado, Nevada, NH, man, I don't know. We're down to the wire, and Trump is banking on enthusiasm to win this, essentially.

Sure. Simple pool rules. $10 says Trump wins overall, and $5 on the side says he takes over 275 electoral.

Huge surge of Latino voters in Florida( mainly Puerto Ricans who mass migrated to Florida over the years) for early voting suggests otherwise on Trump likely winning Florida. Same for Nevada and Arizona.

As well there's a word that Clinton already won Nevada and Colorado through early voting alone, both states had 70% voter turnout and democrats had overwhelmingly voted in both states. And like 150% increase of Latino voters in Nevada, which was not accounted for in any poll made.
